comone guys a little help here please

I do not fish Watts Bar... repeat, I do NOT fish Watts bar. That said, and just a quick glance at a map, these are the areas I would go and long-line troll right now. See this report: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=302257

Right now crappie should be staging outside, or midway, into creeks and sloughs leading to spawning areas. They won't necessarily be orienting to structure. They are likely to be in open water, orienting to schools of bait, putting on the feed bag prior to the spawn. We were catching crappie on jigs fished 4 feet deep over a 14-foot creek channel.

Did I mention I don't fish Watts Bar, so I am simply wild-a$$ guessing. But if I were heading there right now, that's what I'd do. Good luck.

Thanks for that info, it is just what I was looking for in General. I was hoping more anglers would give this type of reply but I guess the 150 or so viewers who have looked at this post, :( don't fish Watts Bar.

You might be correct, I wouldn't have a clue even though I viewed the post...

Blue springs, Turn left out of the creek second cove on the right. Find the tree in about 14 ft. of water on the right side of the cove. I caught a limit on the tree like every year. This was before the cold. Good luck.

Blue Springs is probably your best bet close on Watts Bar. There's a couple of fish attractors to the right of the ramp. This cold snap probably run them back out into the main channel though. I'm planning on trying my new/old boat out there when the weather and my work schedule hit right. Also think about the Hiwassee River. There's some good Crappie water close to the Hwy. 58 bridge. Further down river at Wolftever creek is probably the best water around. Richard may catch them in this cold weather, but it's going to have to warm up a good dang bit before you see my butt in a boat.
