Why do people wait till the last minute to sight in their guns? I've seen a lot of ppl having troubles in the last few days and thought if they got their guns out a month ago they could have had time to fix this. Or waiting till the last minute to buy bullets knowing everyone else needs them too. Not trying to attack anyone. Just prepare better

I don't understand why so many people have to resight thier gun in every year. Once mine are where I want them, I never have to touch them.

Funny you say this ...... I was checking in a deer this morning and there was a guy in the store in full camo having the owner install a scope mount and rings on his muzzle loader. Not sure of is situation but gettin a scope mounted on opening day is a little late in my opinion!

It's always a good idea to shoot and check your scope (days before you hunt). You could have banged your scope or the mounting may have worked loose. Better to be prepared!

I never got around to cleaning and sighting the ML because I have been caught up in bow hunting. Might have the ML ready within a week, but next weekend I have a quota hunt and will take out the 30-30.

I was busy with bow hunting so I waited tell the day before and found out I needed a different nipple so murfreesboro outdoors helped me. but with 5 kids you dont have a lot of time. But what surprises me is how all the stores are running out of ml stuff before the first day. I would think they would stock up for the opening day. I could see towards the end to be short on things

I never shoot my muzzleloader until the Friday afternoon before the season opens. I shoot it to make sure it's on, then immediately load it for the next morning. Thanks to TWRA for putting the two weeks together. Now I only clean my ML once a year. I usually check my rifles while I am at it.

That works until your scope or something is broken and nowhere or way to replace it

I have seen people buying guns and bullets at walmart after dark the night before season.

They do come out of the box sighted in?

You can't fix stupid
