I've had the chance to hunt the last 6 days, and every time in the woods saw a tiny bit more rut-related activity. Finally a few good rubs popped up and scrapes are being actively tended (I moved a couple of cams to see who's visiting). Yesterday morning saw 4 small bucks, 2 were cold trailing hound-dog style, and 1 actually ran a doe off the field. This past weekend there were lots of little bucks trailing + following does around like a puppy.

What are you folks seeing in your west and/or south TN county the last few days?

Seen two mature over weekend in grand junction ... They could care less about doe. Saw over 10 bucks in two days ... And they were still grouped and not pushing or trailing

Haven't been out since last Sunday. Found a decent amount of fresh rubs and scrapes south of GJ in Fayette. South of Bolivar in Hardeman I saw no fresh sign. Bucks still not paying attention to does. Next two weeks that should all change.

Yep...although I didn't actually see them while hunting, do have several recent cam pics of 3.5 - 4.5 year old deer still together and tolerating one another.

I hunt perry co and all the decent bucks are moving at night . so I'm going to give it a shot in the morning

I probably saw the most daytime rut activity I've ever seen this past weekend in Dickson County. Mature and immature bucks were on their feet and some were chasing does, others looking for does, and some just sort of keeping close to them. I had to run (2) little bucks off of a doe I shot, my brother had a little buck mount a doe he had shot right in front of him, and another guy killed a very nice 9 point that came out of a thicket hounding (2) big does.

Finding a lot if fresh scrapes in southwest Haywood, but no signs that bucks are pushing does yet. A few small bucks trailing around with their noses to the ground. A few 2.5 yr olds just cruising.

If there chasing in benton county it's away from me, I'm hunting a very tight funnel between to ridge lines, no open fields even near.im seeing no activity
