Vols visit Gators tonight (7pm/ESPN2) for a top 10 men's basketball matchup. Vols ranked #1 gators are #6.

Gonna be a tough game.

If ZZ shoots his normal bricks from 3 range we are toast. Lanier will have to peel the defense off to get an open shot.

Florida is a 3 point favorite at home. Hope our shooters are hot and we can escape with a win.
Phillips is questionable for the game.
Even had he been healthy, getting a W would've been a tall order.
ZZ is going to have to find someone else to throw those fantastic lobs to. They were becoming quite a tandem on those.
On a side note, it appears that the NCAA may grant 5 years of eligibility. If so, and ZZ and the other returning guards were to come back for one more year, it would set us up for another great year. Barnes has shown that he can get a portal scorer to replace Lanier.

I'll be pleasantly surprised with a win. They definitely can but it'll be a tall task.
if we rebound the way we did Saturday we may win comfortably but I'd say it'll be tough.

He has been a disappointment on the 3 pt shooting, seems like i remembered seeing he was hitting close to 40 percent at his other team
Gators are #8 but they have a heck of a team.
I just turned it on and the Vols are getting it handed to them 32-15 with 50 seconds left in the half. Think I heard them say they were 0 for 11 from 3 and getting killed on the boards.

A loss would have been one thing, getting completely embarrassed is another. 1-21 from 3 is hard to watch.
Hopefully they bounce back against Texas Saturday.

No doubt! I'm a football and baseball guy and don't watch a bunch of basketball normally until the tournament gets here. To my credit they were already getting the brakes beat off of them before I turned it on.
On a positive note, we won't be tempted to stay up too late watching this one. I'll check the final score in the morning.
