Vintage Shotgun Cleaning Brushes?

I suppose is what these are. I've been cleaning shotguns for a long time and don't remember either of these style brushes. I got them in the estate of an elderly lifelong shooter. Y'all remember these? The bigger ones look like they are made of a single piece of wire. Are they for a special purpose besides just general cleaning the bore?

I've got some of the tornado brushes and a 3 pc wood cleaning rod with brass fittings. It from the 50's I think.

I think tornado brushes are the best for cleaning shotgun bores. I use them all the time. They have great surface contact.

I just bought some tornado brushes and they do an excellent job on the bore.
