inletted but unfinished furniture. I'd guess the two concave ends on the forend might be a good clue. It's a beautiful piece of wood. It has a Boyd's bit plate attached. Any help appreciated.

Looks like an unfinished blank for an over & under. It would be almost impossible to tell what brand.

Yeah, as posted- I'd imagine they're for an OU. Some of the more experienced gunsmiths would probably have a better idea.

Possibly an old savage 330 or Valmet 412 looking at the forend.
