Here's the video I put together for my velvet buck I was able to kill last weekend. I'm tickled to death with the buck and the video wasn't bad either. I didn't put a whole lot into editing because I like it a little more raw. If you have the time, please take a look. There's a couple other videos on my channel as well

I told myself years ago that I would not pay $39.00 for 3 Rage broadheads, until I witnessed a doe shot by a friend of mine using Rage. I was sold at that point. They don't go too far when hit with the Rage.

Great "real life" footage, really enjoyed you hunting in some "thick deer woods" that is more representative of what I am accustomed to, and what most wild deer prefer. Congrats on your buck and thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you guys. Andy, that's as real life as it gets. I'll hopefully have some public land Ohio footage later in the year. Actually doing some scouting now

Congrats! Nice video. Did you shoot twice? or did he just spook at something and jump a few feet?

He just spooked at something falling from the trees

Awesome video! Very impressed with you being able to adjust the camera while at full draw then get back on the deer to make the shot. No way I could have done that

That's one of those "Don't try this at home" disclaimers. I have done it once before but the deer have to be in a certain spot for it to work. Being left handed, I have to set the camera arm on the left side of me and I try to set the stand to shoot to that side as well. It just all worked out. I've had to let down to move the camera before as well. It's all part of self filming. It's very difficult yet rewarding

What cam arm and head you using? Was a great hunt.

I'm using a Canon G40 camera, Muddy Hunter Arm and Manfrotto 500 series head. It's a heavier setup.

I've tried several camera arms and fluid heads trying to go lighter. I carry a stand in with me every hunt as well as hike deep into public at times so lighter is more appealing. I just want happy with the lighter arms and heads I tried. It all depends on the type of hunting you do
