Vegas rounds are very humbling

Our first few weeks of league are Vegas rounds every year . These Vegas faces sure know how to humble a man . 292 14x , ugh . Wasn't holding on target very well today anyway but man , I forgot how bad I hate these things ! Luckily I was just shooting a practice round .

I just shot a practice round today , but our league is at Smoky mountain archers over off rifle range . That is also where state is going to be held this year .

Are there any league shoots at Gander Mountain at Turkey Creek? I always go there when visiting my wife's family in Farragut.

A Vegas round looks easier than it is by far! Trying to hit a dime size 10 rings 30 times can be quite the challenge!!! This is when you can really benefit from those "fat" arrow shafts!

I don't think they have league shoots there anymore , our club used to have it there untill they built there own indoor range .

Too far to travel for me; especially working midnight shift and working 7 days a week on top of that. It would take me close to 2 hrs to get up there, one way.
