Planted my first one tonight. A lady at work did this last year and siad it was very easy to do. So I went to Wally World and purchased a five-gallon bucket and planted a cherry or salad tomatoe to hang outsie our back door.

Good luck with it. I have not tried it, but some people do, and it seems the general opinion is that they lose water very fast (makes sense) so be sure to keep up with the watering.

tried one for three years...I think they get too hot and the roots cook in direct heat and sunlight. Cherry tomatoes work the best but keep out of direct sunlight or they will cook.
