Great trail cam footage. Looked like the yote managed to make it's way off with one egg.
Looks like the Coyote had an egg for breakfast. The turkey put up a good fight though. Did the turkey ever come back?

Unfortunately, the hen was dead two days later. I don't have video of it because my night mode was set to 15 seconds. I was really looking forward to watching that family grow up. 
It's some feed I put out for her so she wouldn't need to leave the nest long for food.

I understand trying to help, often times it doesn't work out.
Shooting and trapping the coyotes, raccoons, possums, and crows is probably the best way to help.
Ditto, and many times, it works against the animal, just as it may have in this scenario. The feed has an odor/aroma that may have brought about unintended consequences. Something to think about going forward.
Another reason we need night time predator hunting legalized and start some night tournaments. Get more people involved in killing predators besides the few turkey hunters that trap them.

Great footage but hate to hear she didn't make it. I agree with not putting the corn right beside the nest. Live and learn. Nature can be cruel.

Good footage.
Don't mean to beat a dead horse, since others have mentioned,
but corn is a big attractant to crows, and crows will absolutely go for those eggs maybe worse than a coyote. Same for raccoons.
Do you know it was a coyote that killed the hen?

I do not. I only saw feathers at the nest site.

Could have been a raccoon, could have been a bobcat, could have been a coyote.
Actually, could have been an owl.
But knowing that coyote already knew where she was nesting
I suspect he came back after dark, and just grabbed the hen on the nest.
