Would be fun, not sure there are enough serious turkey hunters on here to form 5-10 teams though. TNDEER is awesome but very geographic specific where OG for example is more national.

Why teams? REN is right, it's not quite like OG. But what about a contest thread where you can post pics of your birds and have categories for weight, beard, spurs, and total score...

I'm thinking single person instead of teams. Must post picture with this year date involved. Score the turkey by nwtf scoring and then have a random drawing with those scores to decide winner. Also highest score winner but would need pics with tape measure on spurs and beard, and on scales to verify if you want to be considered for highest score. If we just had some prizes to make it more interesting. You would have to post the picture the week of the kill to be entered and have until the week after season to be entered up.

The issue with prizes is people being truly honest in their pics. Once money or something is added to win that 1.22 spurs go to 1.33 and so on. People WILL start bickering over the quality of proof and pictures.

That's why i say do a score and random drawing of them to decide the winner. The biggest bird contest could be by weight only or just do away with that contest so it will all be random drawing.

Surely not :) !

Just the word "contest" brings that out. BTW, middle TN hunters would have an advantage, as that strain of bird runs heavier than Ea Tn birds.
