I have a trophy rock mineral site at all my hunting areas. But one spot in particular continues to be hammered. I had 1300 pics in one week. The trophy rock has been gone since August. I have never had deer hitting my sites this late before. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I correct to assume they are deficient in a mineral?

Yes, this is quite common. Some experience year-round use of salt licks.

And no, it doesn't automatically mean a deficiency in minerals, just that the local deer really like salt!

I've got a crater in the ground that was just a piece of rock with loose Redmond salt poured on top this past January. I watched a doe chomping down on the dirt on Saturday morning, they are still eating it fairly regular.
