Most of the gunsmithing here in the midstate is pretty outrageous for the cost. I have a Remington 870 20 ga that has absolutely the worst trigger on it for any gun I have ever owned. I have purchased a Timney drop in trigger set.

Before I get ripped off locally, I thought I would check to see if anyone on here has done that type of replacement. I would rather my money go to a TNDeer person if possible.

Thanks, Steve

I bet you can do it - and if you can't, then take it to the gunsmith. Very unlikely that you'd break something, just don't lose any of the parts.

Most of these trigger jobs are very easy. I would give it a shot. If you can't get it, then go to a gunsmith.

Thanks to all of your encouragement, I gave it a try. Timney had great instructions as well as their video. There was one part I had trouble in putting it back together, but, it got done. It appears to be working fine. I can'tdo the big boom here at the house to final test it, but will in the near future.

Thank you all for saving me some time and money!!
