Tourny on Nickajack 11-06 any tips?

Anyone have any tips as far as locations, bait, type of structure, and depths to fish this lake this late in year...i know lake well just never fished it this late in the year....thanks for any help

Can't go wrong with bennet lake. The mats are extremely thick right now and breaking up; they are everywhere.

Try the downriver point where the Nickajack cave lake comes into the main lake right at daylight. They have been chasing baitfish there most every morning. All the way down the same bank is a small culvert that goes under the highway. At certain times it is full of bait and the bass follow.

yeah prob going day before i work out of town so its my only day to go...plus weather changing daily need to be as close to date
as possible
