Too Late for a Food Plot?

I just found out I own an acre I thought belonged to my neighbor. It is next to his cornfield and surrounded by woods on the edge of my farm.

I don't know if it's too late to put in a food plot or what to plant.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm sure he'll be planting corn or soybeans. I can just leave it alone (it's cut corn stalks) and try calling em in to the decoys.

Do birds feed in the field now ? If so just call em in
