Was fortunate enough to tag out on 2 birds in the first 2 weeks of the season. Been wanting to take my nephew hunting, but he's too busy.
Anyways, I put the shotgun up and picked up the golf clubs this morning. Had a bird gobbling his brains out this morning! Heard him from the 2nd hole until hole 5. Gave him a few owl hoots and he would fire off. Might have to start toting a .410 in the golf bag!
Can't wait to get out and chase them again next year!

Nice birds! I played golf for the first time last Friday and figured I'd hear or see a bird but never did until I left and there was one in full strut just up the road. Got home and cousin had left something at the course so made the 15-minute drive back to get it and he was still there but had hens.
