I hunted from 11 to dark tonight and about 30 mins till 5 two bucks don't know how big where fighting like crazy behind me so my question is do you guys have any tactics to get sparring bucks to get closer?

if they were fighting hard and were close enough to hear...then why didn't you get out of your stand and go to them? sounds like they would have been preoccupied with fighting instead of noticing you.

I figured by the time I got out of my climber and walked to them they would saw me or something

your more patient then I am, I would have done everythin to get down as quietly as I could and snuck up within range. but I never have that kind of luck lol

maybe some soft grunts and estrus bleats?? dont know im not a pro but I would try something before i just let them walk away after the fight... hek i might even rattle some... maybe somebody can tell you a story of what worked for them...
