Caught a few sauger this morning. Since I ate some fried earlier this week I figured I'd just blacken these. Honestly think I may enjoy them even more this way. Little wild rice and garlic knots to go with them.

yeah ive gotten to where i prefer them blackened or butter and garlic sauted. works for thick stripe/white bass and drum filets too.
Looks tremendous. Never had sauger but i have heard they are good

Not bad at all. Only had 2 gates cracked and I think they closed those 2 overnight

I wanted to try the Cumberland this weekend but Wednesday we were at summer pool and logs were flying down
