The best thing I did this year was to throw a pre-emergent down in my clover. I threw it out in March, and will do again the end of May. $20.00 a bag, 0-0-7. Last for 3 months or so.

So far I do not have any weeds, just some grass that was already existing.

just an idea.

I would mow it, you can't hardly kill the stuff. Look at everyone's yards that has mowed them and the clover is flourishing. I say mow it and then the rain will give it another drink and all is well.

Good point,I have to spray and spray to get rid of it in my yard.

Isnt that funny, I fert, lime, and spray to have a good stand of weeds (clover). Yet I spray to keep it out of my yard.

go figure.

I would mow around the weeds. Really, weeds are a good thing for
the deer. I have seen deer bypass lush clover to get to some
fresh "weeds", many times.
