TN 2024 Football schedule will be interesting!

Next Wednesday in a made for TV event, the SEC will release opponents for the 2024 football season.

We expect Tennessee will get Vanderbilt and Alabama, then the other six will be interesting to see.

One of the things to keep in mind is since the league is doing away with divisions, the league brass does not want to schedule old division match ups. Now they are going to keep the rivalry games but Tennessee will likely play more old western division teams in 2024 than they ever have.

Apparently we used to play Auburn every year prior to the divisions, be cool to get them more often. Same for LSU. I really don't care about either of the Mississippi schools but UK sure has enjoyed Miss St being their traditional cross over.

I love that schedule. Georgia in T Town and at Oklahoma are going to be awesome! It's a tough schedule but that's what makes it fun.

Absolutely.

There will be great games every Saturday.

The expanded playoffs should help SEC teams from cannibalizing itself.

Wonder if there's a limit on the number of teams from one conference?

If you want the best teams there shouldn't be a cap on a conference and it doesn't matter if it's the SEC, ACC, Big 10, etc. Take the best ones.

Only 4 away games? I guess technically the UGA game is an away game, but… Only 3 games out of state, and those are at the very end of the season.

Florida schedule is always like that, they don't play many games outside of the state. Because of the UGA neutral site, and the FSU rival game. Usually they get a ucf or south Florida as a cupcake as well.

If Billy boy don't have 10-11 win season by the end of 2024 Florida will send him packing.
