Unless you find one new in the box you want find a nicer 75 year old Remington Model 512 Sportsmaster. I know the history on this rifle, it hasn't had a box of shells shot in it.

I've got one similar that is a single shot. It belonged to one of my distant relatives. It went through a house fire and it was in an ole plastic bag felt lined sleeve of a thing. The heat melted the case and the water rusted it bad. It was found under a bed about a month after the fire. My cousin said I could have it cause he said it was ruined. I had a friend cerakote it black and I refinished the stock. It's a great shooter.
