What calling sequence have you guys found to be productive( I never know what to start w locator call ,distressesd animaleor other hotels) ? How long do you call .... what’s the time frame you stay on on calling location.
Thanks in advance !!!

I think it really depends on what season it is when your calling. A lot of people use distressed calls first to lure those yotes that are close in then switch to a more vocal sound afterwards if nothing responds in 5-7 minutes. Breeding time will pick up soon so a challenger sound should do well. 15 min max for me in a location that I know yotes have been before. Going in blind to a location, you might want to stretch that out a bit. PM slim about your questions or maybe he will respond. He's very successful in his hunts.

I usually start with a locator. Then i go to,some, sort of distress. Deer fawn has worked best for me lately. Finally i do some sort of pup scream or a challenge howl.

This, time of year coyote vocals work pretty well
