Tips and stories for Catoosa draw.

Let's hear some of y'all tips for hunting catoosa, or just past stories and success pics. I drew the oct muzzy hunt. I've never went to awful deep over there so I'm thinking this hunt I may get as deep and thick as possible

Don't go deep and always hunt the hunter, I say that because you need to stay upwind of everybody. Also I say don't go deep because you'll be working to hard when most of the sign is up close to the roads. I went last year on that hunt and I set me and dad up within 150 yards of the road about 2 miles from each other. We both hunted sign and we both killed 8 points. A few years before that I hunted and could see the trucks flying out the road everybody going to their spots I was in early. By 9 o'clock I had missed an 8 about 100 inches and saw a 130 inch 10 they both crossed the road. So I guess what I'm saying is don't overly think it and have fun. By the way I'll be on that hunt with you. Good luck

You can hunt the whole area, you don't have to stay just to the genesis side. You're just as liable to see hogs as well and they make great sausage

I will be on the Oct ML hunt as well. Plan on doing some camping.
