Check your stand for wasp nest before the season so that when you climb up when it's dark during the season you don't get a big surprise. Amazing I didn't kill myself scrambling down the climbing stick.

I have a large tangle of spider web/nest I have to take care of everytime I climb to one of my lock ons. I feel like spiders are all over me the whole time I hunt from that tree. Needless to say, I stand more while in that tree than any other tree I climb.
