I had stopped hiking at Natchez Trace Parkway because of the terrible tick problem, both the large ones and the little seed ticks. I've not seen it as bad as it was this year. I started back hiking Monday after changing over to bicycling exclusively to get ready for the annual trek out West. I just got back from the Trace again today and both days this week showed a tremendous decrease in the ticks and I didn't see any of the little seed ticks that eat me up two weeks ago there. Maybe the one positive thing about the dry spell is the ticks can't survive....Anyway, Life is Good again, I can get back in the woods. I plan on putting out some more salt on my place and have been putting it off due to the ticks.

still fighting the chiggers i picked up a couple weeks ago. My place has been good for 3 or 4 ticks everytime I go just 15 ft off the trail to check licks and cameras. I havent been out there in a few weeks so hopefully it is better too.

We gotta small buck that comes in the yard and he's got big fat ticks all over his ear,the small ones are all over this place

i was out at my place about 2 weeks ago. i pulled literally about 100 ticks off my dog. most i have ever seen. it took about 3 tick baths over a week to get rid of em all.
