It's my fault. I planted my first ever food plots 2 1/2 weeks ago. That guaranteed no rain. If I place a bet, then bet the opposite and you will almost always win!

I knew that forecast of rain last week was bogus so I didn't seed. But this rain forecast looks a little better.

Annual clover I planted in mid-August is all just about dead. Thankfully a didn't turn the ground, so the duff holds in a little moisture. From what I can tell, the clover is living off the morning dews we've been having.

I also planted on Saturday with the 80% forecast of rain Sunday night and all day Monday. One small shower during the night is all I got. Hope it comes Friday.

Yep, I am fearing this on mine but hoping for the best. Hoping that some is still there to come up and I can overseed.

Doubtful, as long as the plant is cold tolerant. Now if temps dropped into the mid 20s, yes that could kill newly sprouted anything.

Glad I got 1,000 lbs of wheat seed down yesterday afternoon. Received a great rain last night, with potentially more next Monday/Tuesday, and again next Fri/Sat.

Nope. Mine hadn't germinated yet. Generally takes a couple of days to a week after the first rain to actually germinate.

Most of the seed had germinated a week after broadcasting in the rain.
