This pic is from one of my old cameras and the deer is far off. Is that a beam or a glare from the sun. Thoughts?

That's a beam and he has another on the other side

His left ear is in the sun and looks like part of the beam base as well.

That left main beam just looks crazy tall.. it may be the way he's angled i reckon with the sun hitting it.

Definitely beam with a couple of upright points.

Definitely a left beam, cannot tell for sure about his right side, but looks like he may have a tall fork on that side.

His ear makes the base of the beam look lower than it is, which makes it look taller than it is. Still a tall rack though.

This is from a far. Thought he looked like a heavy bodied older deer with just some crazy headgear maybe going down hill. Here is the main pic. Only pic i have gotten of him so far this year. This farm produces some crazy looking racks from time to time.

Here's one that was young. I had him dead to rights 3 or 4 times year before last and let him go to grow up and the neighbor ended up shooting him the last weekend of the year. They brought a family member that doesnt hunt and he got him.

Definitely a beam but as others have mentioned the ear makes the base look like it's long. If you look at the head and picture where it should be on a deer's head will help to gauge.
