I've never heard anyone mention this before so I thought I'd hear some opinions, good and bad. I have it "close" to where I hunt, just not where I want it. I've also heard it spreads like wildfire, but in the areas I currently see it, there hasn't been much expansion in the 8 years I've hunted the area. But there are deer that take cover in it, I can say that for certainty.

The Bamboo where I hunt is all close to water.
So it stands to reason....it is good cover that is close to water...and where i am there are White Oaks on there other side so even better.

the bamboo here that grows is in a not in a low ground type of area. it's actually on hillsides facing south and east. it's not super thick and mostly under 10 feet tall.

River cane seems like good bedding cover especially along creeks where it usually grows. But then I see bedding sign around creeks anyway... If its not bamboo, it's privet. Deer like the thick stuff that grows in creek bottoms and banks. That's where I kill a lot of them
