Well I finally made it to my lease this past weekend to check my cameras. It didn't turn out so well. I ended up having 2 of my 4 cameras stolen. A third one was in a lockbox with a cable and got a few pics of a pretty rough looking trespasser. This was the first time I've had any taken and it was an awful feeling. Some folks on here know where I hunt and it's pretty rough terrain but folks still manage to sneak in.

Hate to hear that buddy there is nothing that I hate worse then a dang theif. I had a camera get gone last year. Sorry to hear you getting hit by a thief.

I am sorry for you friend. I know what a horrible/angering/frustrating feeling it is. Hopefully your pics are good enough to catch him.

One of the reasons I have a cam on the
County rd by my place taking pics
very little traffic, but you'd be surprised
Who comes by

Ain't that that the truth? I have my cams out in the middle of nowhere, and have now caught two different trespassers on one of them.

I have changed trees since then to get better pics and license plates info...

I've had it happen often. It sucks. Post any and all pic of them, maybe someone has some info about them. Hopefully you can catch them. :livid:

Ill try to get some pics up this weekend. Ill probably get slammed for this but Ill say it anyway. We had loggers come in and start on the property adjacent to ours during muzzleloader season. Since they started we have had trouble. Baiting, tresspassers, cameras stolen, and tree stands destroyed. Never had any major problems the last 8 years.....

Maybe you can contact the logging co. and ask questions about it. If nothing else it would help get the message out that you wouldn't stand for it.

After I hang my cameras and get everything set up I have two cameras that I call rovers. They are black flash and I set them up so they are monitoring my trail cameras. I rotate them every couple of weeks and I also hide them at the front gate of the property if someone crashes through or otherwise trespasses. I hide them on the ground, up in trees, in bushes etc. It is actually quite easy to get a picture of a face and a tag number. Folks around your property will always know who is in the picture. "Well, that's old so and so's boy" I ran him off for trying to steal scrap metal last month. Have the criminal summons issued every time. Zero tolerance. I put their faces in a folder called "trophies" every time one gets convicted.

I feel everyones pain. I lost 2 cams last year and another guy on the lease lost one. This year I'm going to position them different. Maybe up high will help and I'm sad to say will have to position one to watch the other. If I get pics, I'll do all I can to have them proscuted. No exceptions!

I have a camera watching my camera at every feeder. Hate that, I would much rather be taking pics of other spots on the farms I hunt on. Hate a thief.

I hate it for yall, I'm glad we dont have that problem where I hunt. I have never had anything stolen or got a pic of a trespasser. Few people walk into the places I hunt. Sometimes I wonder why I walk in there to hunt. LOL........
