Ryan Tussey and his brother, Ben, traveled all the way from West Virginia to fish with me. Of course the planned date included a prediction of 15-20 mph winds. :bash:
But early AM wasn't bad, and right off the bat Ryan stuck a 37 lb. pig. Ryan has caught a lot of catfish but said this was probably the longest battle he had ever had. It was one of those demon fish that just wouldn't say "Uncle."
That happened within the first 15 minutes. The day sort of went downhill from there. :x
We caught fish, but it was a fight to try and fish effectively in the wind. Ryan and Ben had several other quality fish in the 10-18 lb. class... and a whole bunch of "eaters." We figured 30 fish total.
But it's always a special treat to fish with HARDCORE catfishermen. Ryan and Ben are exactly that. Days like this one are just another reason, life is good and gettin' better every day!
