Still goes on. But we got pretty close. Ended up with 3 right around 1.7 - 1.69, 1.7 and 1.79.- and had the big fish if the day break off at the boat- my fault for not retying - 4 pound line after several big fish- should have known better. We caught 40 or 50'fish. Tons of short fish on brush piles. Finally found the big fish in shallow on blow downs with soft bottoms- i guess they were on bed. Filled the cooler . 5 fish would have been TARP eligible. Usually dont keep the big ones, but did today because my mom was wanting to do a fish fry. Traveled less that a mile on the water the whole morning. Kept a few big bluegill and 12 crappie. Released a 2 pound channel cat. No bass today.
