The one that should have got away

On my way back home from hunting, just South of Pulaski,on HWY 16, when a gray blurred rocketed itself toward my truck. I did not see it until it was two strides from my truck. You can figgure out the rest. I was very lucky....only trashed the bumper of my tuck. Nothing like the sound of deer being smacked by your truck and then rolling under it to get your attention. Thank the Lord it was only a small fawn! I did get the carcus out of the road. No sense in causing anone to wreck.

Glad it didn't do more damage than it did.
Couple of years ago I hit two big ole does at the same time. They came out of nowhere, didn't even have time to hit the brakes.
luckily for me I was driving the wife's car and not my truck. Wife was not amused.
