I did manage to harvest a decent average size bear for the area, it squared 5' 4". wasnt a monster but considering i was the only one to put a tag on a bear last week I feel real good. Weather was changing constantly (from windy to hot to rainy then cold) and the big boars were roaming far and wide for sows in heat, which was about two weeks late so that kinda hurt us a little too, but i saw lots of bears during the week.

Weather was bad for us in Idaho, rained and snowed 7 out of 10 days on us and only killed 3 for the group with 18 bear on video. I killed this boar on June 1st.

for those who always wanted to bear hunt I can point you to a reasonably priced hunt with two of the nicest guides. you will have a ball but dont take my word for ask tonyusmc when he returns from his hunt in new brunswick. I got a text today and he is one happy camper!!!

I go up there at least once a year and would be more than willing to get a caravan together for next year! anyone interested pm me and Ill get you the outfitters name, addresss, website, phone number so you can talk to him yourself.
 
Well just crossed back in to the U.S. with 2 Bears in the bed of the F150 great hunt and great people up there! Shot mine the first night four hours in to the stand and im very pleased IF I would have waited I would have got a crack at a 350-450lbs boar that came in a hour after I shot mine. I will post pics when I get a chance. Thanks BIG TIME to taximan for helping me with the hunt and letting me know about the guide.
