Worst part of the temps coming is keeping the boat trail open and not tearing up boats motors and equipment. It is hell on boat motors when it is 0 degrees.

I have a field. The well keeps it open to the blind. We can wade to, or run a boat to blind. Latley, in the afternoons it's like the day l was born. It's been gettin ugly quick. Lol

The Weather Channel app is saying 3deg Friday morning and wind gusts up to 40mph. Pretty brutal.

Doubt that a duck is worth being out in a boat in those conditions.

I broke down and got some First Lite and KUIU gear. Will get a test run this weekend for sure.

Kuiu puffys are by far the warmest jackets I have ever owned.

My water is waist deep. 16 inch well, 3 ice eaters running on electric. I will be there every day for a while. of course, may not kill em. who knows.

Man there is nothing like having silent ice eaters on electric. Killer combo. Wear em out.

North Mississippi Delta has 3 inch ice on fields but it's time to get going again after the holidays. Turned ice Eaters on at the blind. Broke a hole out in front of a pit and did a little hunting. Wednesday and Thursday should be good when it thaws here.
