Met up with crappie luck today, mostly to get out of the house and hang out under the guise of squirrel hunting.
Wandered around, did some scouting. Bout stepped on a rabbit and it took off. Crappie nailed it.
After a long deer season of hunting solo, scent control, remaining still, freezing, sweating and trying make everything in the woods think I wasn't there.... it sure was nice to walk through the woods relaxed.
This really is a great way to unwind after a long season and a fun way to spend some time with your hunting buddies.
