Gotta admit that I'm a little relieved. I wasn't confident that Sark was a very good fit. I wonder who Nick picks up now?

I'm sorta in that same boat with you wondering who Saban finds. Should make for a interesting sort of weeks.

Sounds like Sarkisian and Saban had differing philosophies.

If that's the case, Helfrich or Kelly wouldn't be a good fit.
Will this make the 4th oc in in 5 years?
I think Kelly would be a good fit.

His NCAA record was over .800. The NFL has not been a good fit for him.

I would welcome that with open arms.

I was never thrilled with Sark in the role. As a analyst yes. But as the go to guy Not so much. It was like (wait for it it) WE were stuck with him and that was that. I will have to say I am somewhat relived that Saban is looking elsewhere as I do not think he is/was the answer for the future for ALABAMA.

I got a weird vibe from Hurts in some of his NC interviews that he was not exactly gung ho about Sark. Not so much his words but his mannerisms and the way he chose his words.

While I think Hurts has a long way to go to being a Heisman quarterback...I have a good feeling about his future with ALABAMA and good feeling about his nature and his character. He just seems to radiate character. Time will tell of course.

What really happened .... 8-)

No need for anyone to get bent out of shape. Got this from my son; it's making the rounds among the student body in T-town.

Well the Falcons never fail to disappoint. They are always a disappointment to the fans so they are just keeping on track.

I don't think Saban will like it when Mr.3&out has his defense on the filed more than Lane did. I just don't see it.

Regardless of your feelings about Lane. No one can argue about his success at ALABAMA. And whoever fills his shoes is going to have to live in the shadow of the record he leaves behind. Those are going to be some hard shoes to fill.

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the former Oregon coach has "no interest" in becoming Alabama's new offensive coordinator. It's news that doesn't really come as much of a surprise if you really think about it.

If Kelly wants to return to coaching on the college level, he can get a head coaching job without having to subject himself to being a coordinator for a season. Unlike Sarkisian and Lane Kiffin before him, Kelly's credentials on the college level don't need any rehabilitation.

He doesn't need a job.

He'll have one after next season, but I surely hope it isn't at TN.

Agree on both.... Because he would build a MONSTER at TN. Need to keep Butch. :tu:
