Well I will say, the delay in opening appears to be doing something least in my area… seeing several more turkey's around the greater area while traveling for work. Strutting and breeding… I am hopeful things keep improving and that maybe they not rush to making changes again until they can get a better evaluation of if it's working as is.

I enjoy the outdoors and being amongst the woods and critters. I have been blessed with a place to hunt and a few animals to hunt. My opening weekend has been great… now back to the grind. Have some more forestry mulching and clearing to get done so I can try and get some food plots started for deer season.

If you already killed 2- you must not like turkey hunting….
Actually, my license were about to expire.. so if it worked out (as it did), I would get turkey season in and then I have some family things going on for the next month on weekends… I can buy my next license for archery season and be good for another year.
