If you applied last year and were not drawn and applied this year and were not drawn, you should have 2 points.

Cool...thought that was the case but didn't know they counted last year. The e-mail even said it was an additional point, so it was sort of confusing.

Aaargh! Thanks for the heads-up. We were drawn but after your post I looked and noticed they made the same mistake on ours. We put in for Duck River Remainder and were issued permits for Duck River Bottoms.

Apparently TNWR contracted with a firm to hold the drawing. If you were drawn and the hunt you wanted wasn't available they just gave you a different hunt or date whether you requested it or not. I talked to the company and explained that won't work for us because we don't want the one we were given and I'd rather have the priority points for next year. Another problem is the permits we are going to throw away are probably wanted by another person entering the drawing. She didn't seem to understand and I was told to throw away the permits if I didn't want them. I contacted Joan and she is going to do what she can to fix it.
