Well boys, she's done it again! The wife rattled in this buck at 5:15 and laid the smack down on him at 20 yards!!! I moved her stand early this afternoon to intercept some bucks that had bedded up within 150 yards of her location. She was sitting in a white oak in a big hardwood grove that is just south of the bean field. It's a perfect transition area for the deer. There were acorns raining all around when she spotted this buck at 60 yards and quartering away from her. The buck work steadily away from her when she pulled out the rattling horns and grunt tube. After a short sequence of calling the buck turned around and worked in to range. And she let loose with the bowtech at 20 yards. She hit both lungs and liver. That makes for her biggest buck to date and her second buck this year. Yup she's tagged out before the end of archery!
