Worked great for me last year. I shot a doe and could follow the blood trail from the stand, all 30 yards of it.

Good to hear mostly positive feedback on them. I fell for one of their info-mercials the other night and bought 6 heads (bogo)for the price of 3. I figured it to be a great deal and if they fly and cut even near what they say---I'm in for a better bow season!

I love them. I shoot the 100grain and they hit exactly where my 100grain field points hit.

Where was this deal??

I have thought about trying them , but the only thing that concerns me is that they do not open until they are inside the cavity . Even though the small edge on the backside of the blade will leave a small entrance wound , when encountering bone on the other side , there will be minimal external bleeding .

1" cut on entry...good as most fixed blade heads today.

But it's not nearly the cutting surface as a 3 or 4 blade fixed head . Cutting surface of the blades would be the length of each blade of the fixed head , compared to two small (back edge )wing blades jutting out of the side of the ferrule of the Shwacker .
Not being critical , just a concern I would have when comparing heads on performance . I would take a good rear deploying blade that doesnt expend as much KE to deploy the blades with a wider cut upon entry as my choice in mechanicals .
But I'm not going to argue about broadheads . Shoot what you have confidence in !
I'm going to try the Ulmer Edge this season .

I have shot Swhackers and rear deploying heads....I will stick with Swhackers they are pretty awesome and dont come open during flight. However if ol big boy steps out I want to my Wasp Hammer SST nocked and ready...It will work wihout fail!!!!

The Schwacker folks wrote me last night to tell me my buy one get one free order was shipping. I wrote back and asked was the promo over. He said it was not on their website any longer but that the commercial was running today */22/12 and he would be sending two packs to anyone that ordered today only regardless of what the website says. I guess Im gonna chance it. Below is the excert from his email

Dear James Crocker,

Officially it has ended, but I think the commercial is going to run once tomorrow. If you order tomorrow- even if your invoice does not say "buy one get one"- I'll be sending out free ones. So if you order one, I'll send you 2.

Sincerely,

That's pretty cool of them. I got my email that they shipped as well. Not a bad turn around seeings how it estimated a ship of 10/10. I was hoping to have them in plenty of time to test them out. I'm wondering how they work on a target cube...

I just looked at there web site first time i have ever seen these but very impressive looking i just bought some muzzys i am thinking different now

Anyone got some pic of there swhacker entry and exit holes i bought mine for this season and looking forward to shooting a big o deer with it. Everyone i have ever talked to said the deer will expire before it gets out of sight if u are hunting in openish areas. everyone has said 50 yards is as farthest one has went.
