I got a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 in the other day and got it mounted on my 7mm Wizzum. I've been shouldering the rifle the past several days and comparing it to my Zeiss Victory Varipoint 2.5-10x42. Optically both are very nice. The Z5 is surprisingly light for the size and power range. The thing that really annoys me the most is the Z5 reticle changes color to silver depending on the way the light enters the ocular. It's almost a deal breaker for me in all honesty. The Zeiss reticles stay black all the time. I do like the huge eye relief of the Z5. When the weather gets better I'll go to the range and see how it goes.

I just don't like this reticle. It reminds me of Leupold and Nikon's wire reticles. I hate those reticles and those are some of the reason's I don't have them on any of my rifles anymore. I'm going to go ahead and put it up for sale. The scope has never felt recoil, just mounted on the rifle. It's basically brand new. $1425

I heard the the BT reticle on the Z5 was finer than the standard reticle on a non-BT Z6. Don't know if this is true but can you confirm?

My scope has a Plex reticle. I don't have a Z6.
