Very nice! I planted some sorghum this year and was wondering when your deer start to utilize it? Mine is just starting to head out and looking good. TIA!

BTW, Very cute helper you got there too!

i hear they eat it when it is mature. i have never planted it either but thought i would try one field and mix in some soy. i tell you what i will be fun to sit there in the winter. i bet the birds will be all over that field. looks like bird seed

Guys, Last year I planted this sorghum plot for the first time. Come bow opener they were hammering it. They eat the tops where the seed is. Once all the seed is dropped or eaten they pretty much abandon it, but were bedding in what was left of it this spring.

hook- thanks for the info on the sorghum. i wanted to try something new that would also be good cover.

156- i am supprised at how well everything is looking with as little rain as we have had. i think we have been very lucky
