Suggestions on someone to tune up 1973 25 hp?

Located in Murfreesboro. Looking for someone who knows what they're doing to tune up a 1973 electric start 25 hp. Motor will run great, then rev at full throttle when you try to start and then run great. Then has a bad miss at idle and then run great. Guessing something in the carb and needs to be rebuilt, or tuned up. Didn't know if anyone has a names of someone who is good and can get to relatively quickly (month or so). Thanks
