#1 I got on this bird Sunday of opening weekend. I just couldn't seal the deal before backing out to go to church. The Next morning I took a vacation day from work to hunt so I set up on this bird that morning. The old bird decided to pitch down in a different field this morning something had them stirred up. It was about 7:00 before all the hens came off roost at this point I made a move on the tom and setup about 100 yards from him. After a series of calls he started coming in quick. He came in to 15 yards before I hammered him. 21.4 pounds 10.5 inch beard 1.25 spurs

. #2. While going into the woods I jumped up a few deer which decided to run right through the flock of turkeys. After the turkeys regroup I see 4 toms and about 15 hens the they are still a little on edge from the deer so calling from thick cover with a lot of wind they were just no interested. They started off to the other end of the field so I made a long walk around them. I found them off in a deep holler that had a old wagon road around the side of it. I snuck down that old road to about 30 yards from them and made the shot. I love calling them in but I also love stalking them!19 pounds 9.5 inch beard 1.125 spurs!
