Striper fishing the Caney

What is the Lower Caney River / Cumberland River look like for striper fishing now? I feel the need to troll some skippies this weekend.

I like to run up to the dam (cordell hull) and catch some 8 to 12" skip jack then run up the caney and troll them behind the boat with planner boards.
If I get board with that I will bass fish with huge top water plugs and swimbaits......
I was just interested in the water conditions down there myself.

Cumberland dead!!! I trolled it last week around Nashville with some Topwaters and Stretch 25's and no takers.
