I was driving to college in the mid 1990s and saw one on 231 south of Murfreesboro. It was dead on shoulder of rd. Turned around and went back and looked at it. Told everybody about lol. Nobody believed me. Thats before cell phones. I figured it was a pet.The first one I saw in middle Tennessee was on interstate 440 West right off West End. It was dead up against a concrete barrier. I did a double take and figured someone had lost a pet, or played a joke.
The joke was on us a decade later.
Back when I used to hog hunt with dogs in Florida, I watch a pit bull roll an armadillo all over an open pasture. The pit bull was trying to get his mouth around the balled-up armadillo but just couldn't quite open his mouth far enough.Bounced an entire mag of 9mm off one at about 15 feet in a tree last season. only red marks and it kept on its path. Next time .300...lol
I've killed a ton of them with my .22 target pistol.Bounced an entire mag of 9mm off one at about 15 feet in a tree last season. only red marks and it kept on its path. Next time .300...lol
Don't know either. Saw a bunch or red bruises where I hit it but he kept on moving...I've killed a ton of them with my .22 target pistol.
Don't know why your 9mm wasn't stopping them.
