The one I posted above is the 24" turkey model. It had the big front site and I cut it off and smoothed it down with a dremmel tool. Hit it with some flat black paint and good to go. Also mounted FF3 on it.

I thought about doing that as well, but it would be a lot easier if they just offered a plain barrel. Did you use the holes from the rear sight to mount the FF 3?

I agree or at least make the front piece where you remove 2 screws and it's gone. Here's a pic of the FF3 mounted. Need to cover up the back holes somehow but not super worried about it.
