or, I might take out the rabbit squealer and try to call in a coyote. Or both...

That's the way I killed number five this year. I was hunting a different deer but close the deal. When she gave the chance, zip and that was that. Wind was gusting to 50.

BTW- That is the best condition to hunt grown up fields or standing corn.

BW, what would you limit your shots to with a bow in these conditions? I don't want my shot to be offset more than an inch or two by crosswind. I'm thinking ill have to get very close to a deer to actually shoot one.

Can't answer that. Have to adjust according to the wind at the time of the shot. If it is gusting when I am at full draw, I might not shoot at all. Too many variables involved. If it is blowing your bow arm around, don't shoot. It all just comes with experience.
