I bought another Steyr Prohunter SBS. This one is in .308 Win.
Got a sweet deal in a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 with 30mm tube. Mounted it up in a set of Warne permanent rings on Warne bases. The wind was blowing 5-10 mph diagonally across the range.
Four different factory loads shot moa or better. Top left is Barnes VorTx 168 gr. Bottom left is Barnes VorTx 150 gr. Top center is the first sighter and center is Winchester Ballistic Silvertip 168 gr. Bottom right is Federal Premium 168 gr Sierra.
I am pretty stoked about tis factory hunting rifle with factory hunting ammo. Brand new and shooting this well things can only get better. I am going to try a few more factory loads but any of the ones shot so far will get the job done on Tennessee whitetails.

nice rifle,,how do you like the scope,,

I like the scope pretty well. I am a Leupold fan but this Bushnell is pretty dang good. Clarity is on par with my Vari X III's. Maybe even a bit better. The eyebox is different from a Lupy. Not quite as forgiving as I like but I think I can get used to it. Tracking seems to be quite good although I have not done a box test yet. As soon as I find that perfect load I'll box test the scope to see if it does what it is supposed to.
