The best "cheap" cam I've ever owned was a 3mp StealthCam. Took the cf cards. Alas, some craphole stole it earlier this year. :/

I agree! Been talking bout this piece of junk stealth Cam. The functions are not user friendly and the infrared night pictures are aweful. Day time pictures are fine.

I got one junker from Sportsman's Guide a while back for $39.95 that takes pictures perfectly if I set it up in the house. It will get my wife going back and forth to the kitchen with perfect timing. Set it up over a imperial clover patch with obvious signs of heavy browsing and it takes black pictures of nothing at exact 1 hour intervals.

I should have known better for $39.95.
